A great last day drawing on our way up and at the Spanish village situated on the hill overlooking the city.
The focus was on producing a couple of well sustained studies, looking at the balustrades as a strong foreground shape and then contrasting it with the complex background.

In the village itself, although its a bit touristy, it’s got a lot of fascinating viewpoints that challenges everyone’s skill with perspective. Again, we’ve got a brilliant, sunny day which produces some excellent shadows and helps with the challenge of creating depth in the drawings.
